When towing a boat trailer, the boat hull is often wider and higher than the trailer frame, so mirrors cannot show the true outer edges or the area directly behind the trailer. During turns, lane changes, and reversing—especially at ramps or docks—the driver cannot see the tail swing, off-tracking path, or low obstacles and pedestrians behind the boat. Most positioning relies on estimation rather than clear visibility, which creates real collision risks in normal driving and launching operations. Installing a rear camera system on the trailer provides a direct view of these hidden areas, helping the driver better monitor surrounding movement and avoid contact with other vehicles, curbs, wheels, bumpers, and potential obstacles during operation.

AOTOP boat trailer camera system includes Wireless Tow Vehicle Camera Systems, Boat Waterproof Camera Monitor Systems and Boat Dual Spectrum IR Thermal Imaging Camera Systems. All of these can meet the demands of boat trailers and are completely customizable.
